Michael Ray

has been an entertainment industry professional for over 25 years.  As an Equity actor, his work includes roles Off-Broadway with 59e59 Theaters.  On the west coast he has performed with the Berkeley Repertory Theatre, TheatreWorks, Aurora Theatre, San Francisco Playhouse, Marin Theatre Company, African-Ameraican Shakespeare Company, Magic Theatre, San Jose Repertory, American Musical Theatre, San Francisco Shakespeare Festival,  Marin Shakespeare Company, Center Repertory Theatre, San Jose Stage Company, and Shotgun Players, among many others.  He has starred and guest-starred in episodic television and films including: 13 Reasons Why (Season 4, 2020) The Next Day (premiere 2020) Free Byrd, (premiere 2020), Torn (2014 release), the pilot Shaughnessy: The Iron Marshall, television series’ for CBS and NBC including Trauma, Nash Bridges, and Midnight Caller, the web series Sasquatch 7, radio commercials, and was the host of his own television series, Home Transformations for 2 seasons on the DIY Network.  
In addition to his work as an actor, Michael Ray has extensive experience in concept, writing and content creation in all forms of media and theatrical events independently and with his own company, Wise-Owl Films.  He has directed, co-produced, emceed and/or performed in well over 100 live shows, events and videos for commercial clients such as Apple, MicroSoft, Cisco, Google, Comerica Bank, Cadence, and Virgin.    Michael Ray is a member of Actors’ Equity Association, the Screen Actors Guild, and the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists.
